Nick Bush – Finance Director

Qualifications: Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA)

Experience and Specialisms: Nick has over 35 years financial experience having worked in many corporate finance departments, including Safeway, Glaxo and Aquascutum. He spent 10 years working for Tibbett & Britten Group, one of the UK’s largest logistics providers in a number of senior roles, including Finance Director of a Joint Venture with IBM. In 2000 Nick joined Cox Costello & Horne and heads up the management accounting and outsourcing department. The department has grown significantly and continues to provide valuable support to their clients.

Outside work: Nick is married with two grown up children. He helps his wife run her own children’s nursery and is a member of Grimsdyke Golf Club.

Katherine Boyce

Experience and Specialisms: Kat has been working at Cox Costello & Horne since September 2008 after graduating from University. She has no previous experience in accountancy and does whatever she is told to do, but is learning a lot from the various roles she undertakes.

Outside work: Kat is currently training to be a singer and sings with the BBC Symphony Chorus. In her spare time she enjoys socialising with friends.

Denise Cox

Experience and Specialisms: Denise with was with the company when it started up but took time out to raise a family and work on her few private clients and rejoined in 2004. Due health problems, she mainly does bookkeeping/accounts work nowadays and works part time.

Outside work: Denise loves horse riding, gardening, reading and walking (especially when it involves a stop at the pub!).

Alexander Elliott

Experience and Specialisms: Alex has 5 years experience within various accounting roles, including a year at Cox Costello & Horne as a trainee accountant.

Outside work: Alex is a keen footballer and enjoys travelling to new places with friends.

Lorraine Jones

Experience and Specialisms: Lorraine has worked for Cox Costello & Horne since July 2005.

Outside work: Lorraine enjoys playing golf.

Melzina Naidoo

Qualifications: Accounting & Finance BA (Hons) and Trainee Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA)

Experience and Specialisms: Melzina has been working at Cox Costello & Horne since October 2007 in the Management Accounts Department. Before this she worked in the accounts department at a North London hospital and a London based Consulting Company.

Outside work: Melzina enjoys spending time with her friends, swimming and going to concerts.

Jayne Pickering

Experience and Specialisms: Jayne has been working at Cox Costello & Horne since January 1999. She has had many roles within the company but is currently bookkeeping for two companies : Limelight Projects who are a sports marketing and event management company and Lumina CR Ltd who specialise in the creation, communication and delivery of corporate social responsibility programmes.

Outside Work: Jayne recently joined Capital Connection Ladies Barbershop Chorus.
